Excellence
Blab has an advanced centre for research of pesticide residues and their relative metabolites. A research project conducted with key public and private research partners, and financed by the Regione Puglia (Apulia Regional Authority) with European funding, has allowed us to develop an innovative and rapid method with high assurance of analytical data gathered, using an unique extraction system of the pesticides from vegetable matrices (of about 600 molecules) and the subsequent identification and quantification by HPLC- QQQ and GC-QQQ Furthermore, the laboratory is equipped with ICP-MS with collision cell technology that makes it possible for us to carry out multi-element analysis of trace metals on fruit and vegetables, and in water and soils.
